game goes into sleep mode when running roms on R4...

    I have tried to get both prof layton and lego rockband to work on my R4 (v1.18 firmware) but they both needed arm7 fixing, now I used arm7fixa to try and get round this but when I load up prof layton or try to play a song on lego rock band (menu is fine) it acts as if my ds is in sleep mode - both screens shut off and the light flashes green and it forces me to reset. what (if anything) can I do to solve this problem?

    You might need to use 1.23 unofficial firmware from http://r4li.com/ or use YSMenu.

    I downloaded the 1.23 firmware and it worked like an absolute charm, thanks ever so much!

    I wouldnt recommend 1.23, as its not official firmware, and ive heard that it can be harmful to your R4 and your DS. I just use YS menu, and it works perfectly
