I tried to download Driver 2 (Disc 1&2), Alternative Driver 2, Jersey Devil, and Pacman Anniversary (All for PSX/PS1) and they didn't download (Brought up errors). However it seems it deducted from my points anyway. It also said I downloaded 8, when I only downloaded 4 (Animal Crossing, Road rash jailbreak, Army men 3D, Dalmatians 2). Are points supposed to taken away for dead games? Screen shot:
It has happened to me as well unfortunately I had my points deducted as well also showing I downloaded more then I actually did. Not to mention it was over 500 points lost, so I second this question and ask is there a way the points could be taken after the download completes? Not Paused or manually stopped or even in some of my cases plain router issues but just when it is successfully completed.
Oh, that page appears if ever you try to download another file while you are currently downloading one.
Only on the first two I was downloading another one. The other ones I wasn't. It shouldn't let you open the link for multi-downloads if that's the case. Or at least warn you, however I am quite sure that the games are dead. Although I'd appreciate an admin confirmation.
This happens because you were already downloading a file. Due to the way our server software works we cannot really do anything about it at this point. Don't have to time to try to prevent it. The good thing is that our PHP script logs the download so it costs 0 points for 24 hours following your initial download. (this is also specified in our introduction guide) So you can start the download once your other one is done. And no, there is no way we can make the points be taken upon file download completion. There's only connection start and connection end, doesn't matter what kind of end it is. And also, it's a lot simpler to do it on connection start. Not going to change that.
