Game Cover Art Pictures

    this is just a suggestion for the pictures, instead of having to wait for someone to upload a screenshot for a game couldn't you put a picture of the cover art of the game just like *read the rules* do

    that is still easier than getting a screenshot you could find the cover art in google easily

    Uploading cover art from google ect. breeches the copyright/royalties for those images. Uploading a user taken screenshot is royalty free.

    We have tens of thousands of games, we just don't have time upload box shots. Almo's point is also highly valid.

    I'm fairly certain actually hosting the game would make hosting the cover art to be a fairly small offence, besides, IGN and such all have the covers too.

    But if we were to host cover arts then it'd be user uploaded still, so there's no point really.
