1.Ok take your GBA SP (If you have one) and take the game out. (You will need light so do this out side or something) 2. Look inside the empty gameboy slot (Where you put the game). You should see a little flap like thing sticking out of the left side of inside the game slot. Note that the right side dosen't have it. 3. Okay now take a toothpick or something that you can use to poke the flap back. Make sure push the flap back all the way. 4. While Holding the flap all the way back, turn your Gba Sp on. A Gameboy Color Start-Up Screen will appear. 5. Thats it. Why is this? You'll notice that the GBA SP game packs have a little column cut off the sides so it wont activate the little flap. Gameboy color game packs dont have it, so it can trigger the Gameboy Color screen. Btw press R and L to adjust screen size.
It has that because whenever you insert a GBC game in it it activates the flap therefore showing a different loading screen. If you look at GBA games, they've got little niches in the sides so they don't activate the flap. GBC games have no such thing.
