Gadgets

Could somebody please tell me where the gadgets we get when we right click our Windows 7 desktops are? I've just downloaded a new gadget but not from the Microsoft site only because they didn't have what I wanted and I'd like it to be in with the rest of my gadgets. This is the place I'm talking about:

 

In a word, no. It didn't come with an exe.

 

Well then how come it won't show up in that window I put up a pciture of?!

 

You need to double click and run the file, then check the window again. If it doesn't show up try a restart and see if it shows up after that.

 

First of all it came with more than one file. So you're going to have to tell me WHICH file to click. Second of all I've got my desktop set to single click because of my arthritis.

 

can you give a screenshot of the directory your gadget is stored in?

 

or screen shots of the downloaded file with their extensions ?

 

How about a picture with both? ;v)

 

So... you put the Windows gadgets you just downloaded into that directory?
