gaaaah...Game breaking problem with Advance wars: days of Ruin

After a ton of hard work I cleared mission 21.

...then, when the game took me back to the Map screen, it did its little explosion thingy, opened the next mission...and froze.

The music turned off, pressing the buttons does nothing, the touch screen does nothing. For some reason, the text on the top screen still scrolls, but that's it. Cant' do anything.

Also, it saved RIGHT as I went to the map screen. So if I load that file up, it opens up the next mission, and then freezes.


Is there any cure at all? My last save file is at least 5 mission previous. If I lost all that time, It might kill htis game for me...

If there isn't a fix, then can someone help me find a R4 cheat file for this game, so I can get back to where I was without having to re-do all of it?

 

Well go here for one save at the moment. http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/ds/save/943675.html. Also it may be your MicroSD isn't fast enough, Kingston and MicroSD are the best and you should update to the latest kernel just in case. And you probably will need to convert the save to R4 compatible 512 KB save, there are a couple of good save converters if you search for them and there is this online one. http://shunyweb.info/convert.php, it has support for R4 saves. Hope this helps.

It can't be my micro SD. I have a kingston, which I've had since I got my R4 last summer. It hasn't failed me yet.

And thanks for the save...but... >_> IfI use it, it'll overwrite a few maps I made and I'll lose my S ranks...

...well...If I can't find a solution by the end of the week, I'll use it.
