If you thought kitchen technology had reached its peak with the microwave oven, think again.

Future cooks will use an indoor biosphere which grows vegetables and fish ready to be prepared with absolute freshness.

It sounds like the stuff of science fiction, but this sort of technology is already under development to help households take the pain out of going green.

Well, this solution is actually for those crowded cities. In my country, growing your own vegetables and fish is a bit common where most people has a garden or open field near their home for doing that. But this is usually never done by people in modern villages, we have our green grocer going around the neighborhood, selling the fresh vegetables. (and sometimes chicken and fish)
