I have a question based on the FTP web servers, lets say i create one i uplaod all my important contents, music, docs, folders, etc. and then i erase the OS of my PC do i still get acess to the documents? or are they lost forever, keep in mind i am thinking of using this option due that i have over 20 GB only on documents and around 10 GB on .mp4's and the exe folder (the exe folder is destined for app's that do not needs installing like LIPS)
if the ftp is on your local PC then the ftp server cannot run without an OS, even if the contents still exist. If it is on a remote server then you will be able to access it once you have reinstalled an OS (or used a different PC with an OS).
Ok, how do i magnage to make it remote server so it's unlinked to my PC and OS? can guildFTP do it?, i got the idea since my uncle often uses FTP server to download stuff from work.
I see, thanks, it sucks i cannot do that, oh well gues i will need to rar it and fargment it and upload it to ifile.it
