Frozen nintendo ds N5

    when i start it up, it's just a black sceen with write leltters that reads "loading" does anyone have any helpful hints to help me solve this problem? Thanx.

    Update it to the latest firmware from this site. http://linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/ Look for N5 on the page.

    it still doesn't work, does it have to have a specific amount of memory? Because mine doesn't even have one gigabyte.

    Did you extract the firmware from the archive?

    yes, im thinking about trading it in for an r4, what do you think?

    N5 sounds like a cheap ripoff of the R4. The R4 out of the three "Letter + Number" cards is the most famous.

    R4 isn't the optimal choice though, several times people have had to wait on a firmware update before they could play a game. That has yet to happen with my CycloDS since it plays the ROMs clean and doesn't patch em.
