Is it mega manager or has my download frozen for no reason?

I got burnout GC stuck at 88% for 3 days now...

Normally I'd use flashget-but after I got the other one (to use megaupload links without dieing at 99%) i found only mega upload works when the other is disabled-I disable megaupload and flashget fails...

So what can I do....hate to lose this like last one-and because of prepaid net...It's lost download...

    Any thoughts?

(and anyway to use flashget on megaupload without it stopping at 99% all the time no matter how big or small-tested that already :( )

Something like this happens to me from time to time too. When this happens (with mediafire/free download manager), I check the stopped download properties and change the download target to the new target (open the original download page again). I wonder if this trick will work on your download manager too. :)

    Won't that reset progress?

I have an 8gb limit...that's already close to limit.

Mega manager is free, but you gotta pay for full speed and unlimiteddownloads...

This sucks-can it do that :(

Ah that's stupid mega manager trying to scare people.

But no one has unlimited-if they do it slows down after a certain limit.

no i have unlimited my isp said it
YOU HAVE UNLIMITED DOWNLOADS WITH A 2MB CONNCECTION

No. It depends on your ISP. My ISP provides unlimited bandwidth. There is no limit per month, and there is no slowdown point. I have the full 5mbit connection regardless of how much I use. Unlimited connections are fairly common across the US with broadband providers. I know with many other countries it's rare, but the US is spoiled. A few large providers like Comcast had discussed adding a limit and it causes and uproar among customers.

    Anyway, on topic:
You mention that if you turn off Flashget, megaupload works, and if you stop using megaupload, Flashget works.

Try downloading only one thing at a time for a while, and see if things work out better. Maybe your connection is slightly unstable?

I think MDS was referring to downloading from megaupload. Regardless, don't use mega manager, its crap and possibly contains malware.

No it's burnout gc from here...I only used it because, well, before we got them here I used another site...and flash get would get cut out by megaupload (we discussed this before...sadly I got desperate :( )

One at a time, flashget does not work when megeupload is disabled...until I pull megaupload off it's gonna be like that...

If anyone knows how to by pass megaupload's limit (it always cuts me off at 99% no matter the size of file-even 50kbs it get's cut off at 99% which means megaupload is testing me...) let me know so I can ditch this dumb thing...

THe downloads from megaupload are fine.

And yes-my connection is unstable-but normally it would pick up again and continue if there is any speed (ie right now 6kbs-with other downloads it would continue even on that rate) but not it doesn't exceed even 1 kbs and then it shows an error number..

Would changing the download location as kamui said work or will it reset the progress-I hate to lose another bunch of points :(

I don't get what you mean by disabling megaupload.

Megaupload is a website, either you are downloading from it or you are not.

    ahh!

mega manager-the one you get from megaupload-if you pay you supposedly get full speed and unlimited downloads but I'd be lucky to go past 3 with my dumb net...
