free MMORPG help

whats the best one out there?

 

I've heard that Runescape is very good, although i have never played it myself.

 

I'm currently playin Allods and it's pretty fun. Also Tales of Fantasy looks to be great, the Closed Beta happens soon. But Allods is one of the best F2P mmos I've played in a while.

 

Runescape is ok, not horrible, but it's my personal favorite. For a free user you get a good amount of skills to level, although all of the skills pretty much equal click on things to level. Mining, click on ore rock to mine and level, Smithing, click on the ore, click on the anvil and let the game make stuff. The map is kind of big, but gets a lot larger if you pay.

Perfect World: Ugh, it's decent kind of, but all the quests pretty much consist of either
"kill x amount of enemies"
"get x amount of items, which you do by killing enemies"
"go here and talk to him"

Gets boring pretty fast.

Runescape is the best out there to be honest - and it's really good when you upgrade to Members too (it's dirt cheap).

It really is massive too. Repetitive, but bloody massive!

 

fallen sword is good really simple, in theory, but can get complicated fast, if you're too greedy.
also the community is small but helpful, i got given *1000000000 points just by pm ing a moderator

 

I wouldn't recommend runescape. If you don't want to download MMORPG's then go and play runescape, but beyond that there's heaps of other RPG's.

This, sadly i got bored of runescape after i stopped playing it for a few months.

Tried to get back into it, but i don't really want to spend $6 if i'm not gonna play it, going from members to free is a horrible way to try and get back into it xD

 

I`m done with Ragnarok Online, i have been playing a lot so i think its time for change. Rune scape drove me crazy! not a big fan, i was going to give DFO a shot or Shin Megami Tensei Imagine, but im not sure, i like 3D, so that's a little more info :-\

 

This question haunted me for ages. I tried over 20 different MMOs, from Ragnarok Online to Runescape. Depending on how old you are though I think is what MMO is best for you. Plus everyone has their own MMO choices. I was a Runescape player for 5 years but stopped because it went downhill compared to how it was, but if you get into it now without knowing how it was you'll enjoy it. It's a pretty diverse game with an interesting system that'll keep you glued to your screen for hours, not days (unlike others). But again if your older than 15 I would go for something like WoW, if you want to get more serious into MMOs and are willing to pay for it of course. But Perfect World is a pretty decent MMO, best graphics for a free game, but I agree with what the other guy said it has way too many dull quests.

I used to play Flyff. Was pretty good and made by the same people
who made Allods. Usually play on my ds/psp nowadays so i dont play
mmos but Flyff was pretty good. And some Fans but together a
Machinama. You can find it on youtube and its called TGE and Pudding

 

It's pretty obvious which MMORPG I might suggest simply by looking at my signature.

But I'd rather suggest Runes of Magic as it feels kinda like World of Warcraft but it's absolutely free to play.

 

Dota. Get warcraft 3 off your friend.

 

No one likes Maple Story? I've wasted (Well, wasted as in I could of done something more productive) so many countless hours on that game. Wish I could get back into it. It's free last time I checked.

 

Maple Story is riddled with a lot of hack cheaters & botters.
