I search a frame limiter which works with all games and applications.
The reason is, that i used fraps to make videos of my games, but if it slows down my fps to 20 in all games (old and new). If i activate the option no sync in fraps my fps goes up to over 100. But in the final video there is very different speed as ingame. so i search a frame limiter tool, and can use fraps without sync.

Or a alternative is an program, which can record movies and sound, workes with vista and dont slow down the pc as much as fraps. But I tryed over 10 tools and no one works fully.

    i know^^

but my laptop don´t work with Win XP, there is no xp driver for my ati mobility radeon hd 2400 released yet. And i don´t think, that one comes soon.
But when there is one, i will use XP! its better at all!!!

If the games have a built in vsync option you could try enabling that with the fraps sync disabled, that should limit the fps to 60 or whatever your monitor refresh rate is.

Use the Omega ATI drivers. ATI never release laptop drivers anyway, they say it's the laptop manufacturer's responsibility, and once you've bought the laptop the manufacturer couldn't give a shit. You have to use the Omega drivers if you want updates.

Yeah, but some old games hasn´t the option vsync (for example counterstrike)! Thats the problem!

Can you give my an exactly link for the driver please?

there are other modified drivers there but to my knowledge Omega is the only one still maintained. NGO hasn't been updated in years.

You can also use Camtasia, should work on Vista, it's very excellent.
