Its seem kinda odd that such popular forum doesn't have skins or banner. For a skin I think a darker skin would be nice, and the banner heck, anything but plain text, as long it says Romulation Forums or something related.
we tried a different skin at one point but it didn't go down very well. We will be upgrading to VBulletin in the near future so that will bring a much wider gallery of possible skins.
Nice! While I'd prefer Invisionfree, VB is certainly nicer than SMF. When is this upgrade taking place?
Invision power board is crap (from the scalability/security standpoint). We're not yet sure when the upgrade is going to happen, as it requires quite a lot of reworking of the site code.
oo VBulletin is good. Why not try phpbb,it's customizable user-friendly.But despite all that.The forum is epic as it is currently.
phpBB is no where near our interests, it has a way too shabby history of security issues and slow updating.
