Format my Dsi?

    Hello,
    I have a Dsi with firmware ver 1.2e and trying to run a Super R4i card ver 1.20 english,
    Should I format my system to get it working?
    The message on screen reads:
    An error has occured.
    Press and hold the Power Button to turn the system off.
    Please refer to the Nintendo DSi Operations Manual for details.

    you sure the dsi is on 1.2e?


    On 1.4 it stops cards from working.


    And I don't think formatting it will do anything other than make you re-enter your details agsin-firmware isn't so easily erased.

    Hello, when i go into the system settings on the bottom right hand corner it says Ver 1.2E
    Am I reading this correct?

    You are, hrm...


    Now I'm not familier with r4's-but is yours running the latest firmware?

    latest r4 firmware may help-though not sure.

    I reckon version 1.20 on the R4i is the latest, only found it yesterday. Previously tried 1.19 and that didn't work either.
