please does anyone knows how to format a phone directly from the pc? to completely erase everything and then reinstall the software on the phone? i have some strong virus on my phone, it completely freezes with pc suite or after 1mn using, so i want to format my memory phone to delete the virus because the antivirus also stucks at the memory phone scanning ... i have a n73 music edition and i badly want to fix it please help me if you know the problem ( i tried the *#7370# to set configuration to original setting but it didn't work, still freezing) help pliz

this sounds more like a software bug than a virus to me. And it's not possible to format from a PC without special tools

Can mobile phones even be reformatted? Only thing I think one can do is upgrade/downgrade firmware, but a reformat? If your system freezes when you hook up your mobile phone to it it might be that your SD Card has gone rotten.
No, I don't, and I very much doubt it will be publicly available. It will be issued only to manufacturer licensed service centres.
