Flashcart password

Is there any way to put a password on my flashcart?
I already know ow to hide my files with DSision2,
but it would be easier to have a password for my r4 (wood 1.11).

Is there some kind of homebrew that can put a password on the flashcart?
Or is it impossible.

Not that I know of.

I have never heard of anything of the sort and I can't find anything on it.

 

No, this isn't a feature on any of the flashcarts.

An easy solution though:
Don't put pornography on your flashcart that you are trying to hide from your parents!

I dunno if it's going to work on your R4. You might need to change the firmware.

Also, back up all of your stuff first.

 

May work... until the person with access to your flashcart takes the MicroSD out and deletes the DSecure.nds and/or reloads the old firmware manually.

We should probably ask who she's protecting the files from first.

well my dad once messed up my r4 card back in the days... he started moonshell, goes into some weird directories and clicks on about everything lol.

You sis would buy a new r4 and a MicroSD to play it , just need your nds ;D

EDIT: I've installed it, used it and when i turn it on all i get is"Failed to init FAT"

It's probably not compatible with your flashcart. What are you using?

 

An original r4 with wood r4. Tried reformatting it.

 

Is it Version 1.11?

Do you have the DSsecureR4 folder on the root of your card or the contents of the folder in your card?

Did you run the installer?

 

I runned the installer i have the file and everything. Just when i turn it off then back on after activating i get an error.

 

Try using the other DSecure folder instead.
