Flashcart Advice? :)

So, I'm most likely buying a Nintedo DS Lite this weekend (Mine was previously stolen and my DS Original doesn't charge).
I had a few questions because of my ignorance of Flashcarts:

1. Should I get the Supercard DSTWO?

2. Where should I get it from?
- I know a lot of people say Shoptemp.com but they are out of stock for the next few days to a week. (Any other suggestions?)

3. Supercard DSTWO IS compatible with DS Lite, correct?

can someone explain to me what "Premium Update+Flashing Service" is?

 

Don't worry about the flashing service unless you're a complete newb.

 

on premium update they update it to the latest firmware for you or something but you can do that yourself

 

Also, is there a way to use AR Codes on the Supercard DSTWO?

 

yes, its possible,

 

So, I don't actually need an AR do I?

 

no, you just need to download the usrcheat.dat file, that contains the ar codes

 

If you have a ds lite, you may be better off with an acekard.

scdstwo is only better because of the GBA emu, but you have slot 2 for that.

Pros for scdstwo - real time save/load, read guide/pics mid game
Cons - Decreased battery life

ak2 will do everything you need for cheaper, and you can get an ezf 3 in 1 for GBA.

(ak2i + ezf 3in1 = $36. scdstwo = $35)

 

Don't order it from shoptemp. They only allow preorders right now, which makes no sense seeing as it already exists. My order is stuck on preorder for some reason and they won't ship it, and won't refund me either.

 

I don't think other sites have much left though.

Did you even read the updates for the shop?
They have to re-order tons because they always get so many orders. Mine just shipped a few hours ago actually!

 

Mine won't even show up on the damned screen. I contacted support for Shoptemp and they said they are "Awaiting Payment" although paypal says it's cofirmed!

 

They have much pressure. I don't think they can handle that much pressure.

 

They need a bigger support team. But, ya.. orders should be shipping like as of 2 hours ago. It's technically Monday there.

 

Did you follow the instructions and put your order number in the message or title?

 

They asked for the Paypal transaction ID, which I gave them. I even copied the message from paypal and pasted it into the message for the ticket.

 

I mean in the comment or title for the message for Paypal. You have to or they will be unable to process your order.
