Flashcard type hardware for wii?

    i live overseas so wii games are really expensive here. anyone know if a flashcard type hardware (ie r4, ncard) exists for the wii?

    not a flashcard, but you can get a modchip which you install inside the wii and it allows you to play burned games.

    i really don't want to mod it though... that's why i was looking for a hardware to attach to it

    The modchip IS such a hardware you attach inside your Wii.

    If you're not at ease soldering it yourself, try searching for people who can do it for you :)

    there is no external hardware available for that purpose.

    i didn't want a mod chip because i wanted to be able to carry it around with me and play at friends' houses. i'm sure the technology will catch up eventually...

    You don't have to solder anything. You can look at a softmod inferior if you'd like.
