Hi, I've got problem with my flash card. There is absolutely no free space (less than 1Kb) and because of that when I put it into my PC, it looks as an empty. The same things appears when I put it into DS - it acts as there would be no files on it. The main issue is that I can't delete any files and make some free space space because it shows there are no files. Can anybody help me wit this? I'm using Transcend 4GB card and I really don't want to format it.
    Thanks for reply

is it a new microSD card? if yes, did you format it before you used it?

You could zip the card contents onto your desktop then reformat the memory card, delete some stuff from within the archive and the unzip the rest back onto your newly formatted memory card.

    No, pretty stupid I know

It doesnt work, because it shows that there are no files on it so there is nothing to compress.

i can't see how you can save any of your files now, looks like you gotta format to make your card operable again

Before you format try this first. Plug your microSD into your computer, when its in, open my computer, right click on it, and click properties, go to tools, and click disk/error check.

It shows there are no errors, I just need to make at least 1Kb free to get the files saved on the card showed and then delete some of them. Aww I really don't want to format it.

I never heard of that brand of sd card...

Ok, try a reformat via pc.

    -insert to pc
-If using windows as I am, right click from my computer on what drive it's become, select format
    -Use fat32
    -Wait

Maybe so but sometimes they won't show on scans.

If you can remove the files before you re-format I suggest you do so, if they can't be moved then you got no choise.
