FIX FOR AK2 TO RUN COMBAT OF GIANTS DRAGONS AND BOTH MARIO GAMES

My son pestered and I have managed to get these games to work on his DS and Acekard 2.1 card so thought I would share! I used the latest AKAIO 1.5 (google it) and unzipped it onto a formatted micro SD card, put the _ai folder onto root then the akmenu4.nds file on then I searched for the latest URSCHEAT.DAT on google and theres a new one dated 17/10/09 - I put that into the Cheats folder within the -ai folder and finally I updated the AK2 loaders - once again by searching on google and added those into the loaders file in -ai and that was it all the games he wanted Combat of Giants Dragons, Mario and Luigi BIS and Mario and Sonic Winter games worked with no patches!!! If this helps anyone else with a child doing their head all well and good - I was just so delighted I thought I would share it!!!

I meant to say that to date therre is no game that he has not been able to play with this method!!!

 

Yeah this has been posted (by me several times on the respective threads). It's the loader that does it nothing to do with the cheats file

well I still had the games not running - you could get to the slect file on BIS but nothing to be able to select it and combat still froze - the last thing I did was to update cheats file and it all worked - I had searched every thread on here and other sites and all to no joy - still it works now so I am happy
