    He wasn't really cured. It just stopped affecting him. He can still pass it and he will always have it for the rest of his life.

    My godfather's wife has been studying AIDs/HIV for years, and a few years back she found a group of african women who turned out to have a natural immunity to it.

    Anyhow this guy isnt cured, the symptoms have just been suppressed. The virus is still active in his body even if it no longer does him any harm.
