firmware?

    im sorry if this is in the wrong place im new to using the forums.

    ive not had any problems before with games but lately there are alot that i cant play after reading some of the threads i see alot about firmware versions. i have a r4 card but have no idea how to find any of the other info (sorry in not very technical) can anyone tell me how i find out if any of my r4 card files need updating and if so how i do it.

    First tell us what R4 card you have (There are many versions) and tell us the firmware number.

    the card says r4 revolution for ds v1.18 if this is the wrong info can you tell me how i find the right info

    Its probably a real one and that the latest (Official) firmware.
    You're better of using YSmenu (Like me)

    You can find out which firmware version you're using by looking in the corner of the screen on the R4 interface.

    the version is 1.18 whats ysmenu could i use that with my r4card if so how

    You probably got the correct firmware already, and your issues are with newer games and anti-piracy
