If you have an original R4 only then try ysmenu firmware

Games fixed list in ysmenu http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=195808&st=0&start=0

Ysmenu will run some more newer games, but not they latest...

But it will ownly run on a R4 original card with a 2gb microsd chip

Yeah, and make sure you have an original and not a clone.

You can format you microSD chip as many times as you like , So it don't matter how many firmwares you try ... , it will not brake your R4 card

This is also a helpful place:

    http://www.r4li.com/download/r4.html

It's now the team that supports the R4 since the original team is gone.

They also tell you in the side menu how to set up your card. If you need any help I could send you a image of my cards lay out. or just send you it's files.

    Backup your games and saves,

Delete all of your microds chip, place on the new files from the rar arcive onto the root of your microSD chip

    DS_Menu.dat
    TTMenu
NDS Games - where you place your .nds games into
