My question is..what mistakes did i made? My download stop in just 10 %. My points deducted twice (even more) I download PSX ISO, about 390MB and my point is 500. Should be enough, right. Well it doesn't,..i just download about 30Mb, and then it stops. I open my profile, and my points is approximately 100. So the server think i've already download 400 MB ??!! And i said,..ok..maybe i screw up in something, maybe it was the accelerated (multiple connection /split files) that FlashGet used is the culprit (not easy friendly to find, but i managed to find). And i try to minimize the connection per file in FlashGet into 2 connection, somehow FlashGet cannot make just 1 connection. And i say..ok..because my point is not sufficient enough to make that download, i made another new account. But the result is still the same... Is there anyway to make the other download manager OTHER than FlashGet to work ?
Try DownThemAll! instead. I like this addon more than FlashGet, and it accepts 1 connection per file. I've never used it to download at Romulation, I onwly use it for NDS ROMs, but I guess it should work.
this is possibly why your points were deducted twice. This is against our rules for the exact reason that people will try to circumvent our points system as you did. PM me one of your account names to delete otherwise I will have to remove both your accounts.
That has nothing to do with it. You downloaded a 390MB file, thus 390MB is removed from your account, this is regardless of how many connections you use and how much of the file you download. Downloading only 10% does not mean we only remove 39 points because if we were to continuously remove points for each Megabyte sent we'd be overloading the server in no time, so when you start a 390MB download, 390 points are removed. If you then don't finish this download then no problem, go to the details page, hit download and then make sure you start it with flashgot manually, do not use the capture feature as that sometimes downloads some of the file, when this happens it will look like you started a new download. So once you've started it using FlashGot it should ask you where to save it, choose the same location as the previous time you downloaded it and your download manager should be able to resume it and request only the parts you need. Our script is capable of noticing this and thus won't deduct points when you resume it.

When i read about max connection in the Introduction Guide, i misinterpreted as not having a multiple file download. Repeat..file..not connection per file. I made my mistake.
