Firefox 3 download record now official

Mozilla has broken the Guinness World Record for the largest software downloads in 24 hours. The numbers of downloads of Firefox on it's release day was 8,002,530. This number doesn't count the duplicate or unfinished downloads, full downloads everyone. This number was achieved in over 25 countries.

yeah and apparently I didn't know that it was downloaded until it told me that it was done and ready to update.

 

Old topic, anyway there was no record to beat so i could have released some shovelware before this and could have gotten more downloads
