Hi, Make sure that you are playing the localised version of the game in question. In your case, you would try to find the "Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon" [ファイアーエムブレム 新・æšâ€â€ÃƒÂ©Ã‚»â€™Ã§Â«Å“ã¨光ã®剣] US or PAL version, which will be the translated version of the original Japanese ROM. In all cases (well, 99% of the time), the game will first be made available in Japan in Japanese. The license is then bought by an overseas distributor & ever-so-painstakingly-slowly translated into the localised language. The game is then released in a language that the localised audience can understand. Bottom line: Although it may change in the future, it is not cost effective, not practical, to have a game that has been fully translated into several languages before it is even released. You either: 1. Need to wait for the localised version of the game(s) you want to play, 2. Obtain the localised US/PAL version of the game you want to play, or 3. Learn Japanese so that you can understand these games. Hope that helps.
