    This is exactly what almost killed me 14 years ago. I was lucky, I only lost ALL my hearing in my better ear. The one surgeon that actually listened to my mother said I would have died within 6 months if she hadn't intervened. All the other doctors said there was nothing wrong, and by the time I had the surgery to correct it I'd had the infection for over two years any my middle ear was all but destroyed.

    :-\ my uncle lost hearing is his ear but that was due to a football or something. is this just europe?
