Final Fantasy Tactics A2 Freeze

    there are quite a few people who got this problem but some who got it to work, i am using R4 1.1 and i keep getting freezes at the 2nd mission where you face 2 dogs and a bug face guy, could someone give me a solution to fixing this freeze problem? ???+ :'(+ :mad:

    buy the original? ahahaha

    If you're up to date with your R4 firmware then there isnt a solution at the moment until someone finds out what is causing the problem.

    Im sure someone will post a fix when they find one.

    well i use r4 1.18 but it still freezing, what should i do?? :(

    Ive already format my memory stick, but the game still freezing in same place
    Ive already boost my memory speed too, but..guess what it still freeze
    what should i do?? >_<

    Your MicroSD probably isn't fast enough. What brand is your MicroSD?

    Hmm, the best MicroSD brands are Sandisk and Kingston, although a Sony one should be fast enough..

    actually i am just wondering why every time when a new rom comes out someone donwloads it and when it freezes they keep on asking question why it happen even when they have the newest firmware shouldn't we all be used to it already since most of us uses flashcart and i doubt microSd causes speed slow down it is all the same except for the brand and whether is it microSD or SDHC format which support more space and if other games have no problem that shouldn't be the cause right sorry for the long message ~i write not because i care but out of hopelessness and despair -,-

    Some brand MicroSDS aren't as fast enough as others, or don't have as much read speed. You might have to buy a better branded one, suggested above. R4 doesn't support SDHC cards at all. MicroSDs etc. cause the freezing problems.

    well..for '4ds' this is my 1st freezing game
    i never download a freezing game before in our site, so what should i do with this one??ha??you're so rude..
    is that wrong to ask..??whats forum for..

    MicroSD speed is dependent on the brand because lesser known brands use lower quality components that do not perform as well. They buy flash memory chips and build them onto PCBs. Sandisk and Kingston make their own chips and PCBs and design them to work to the best of their specifications.

    sorry didn't mean to be rude if i was i would write everything in big letters to get my point across i have my fair share of freezing game before like castlevania potrait of ruins and i got the rom from this site and another place but the problem its with the flashcart and i am using EDGE not R4 but most of my friend that got their before this year are all using R4 and they have the same problem until upgrading newer version so that is all btw does emimem really talk that way +.+ -.- -,- =.= i use these few when chatting so does everyone i know

    The flash cart does not make games freeze unless it's incompatible with the game, in which case it will most likely always happen at the same place. Freeze errors usually happens during loading or saving if the SD card is too fragmented or not fast enough. Though I suppose if a flash cart is damaged it might somehow affect the transfer speed between the flash cart and the SD card, if it even runs through it.

    sorry lol when i say problem i mean firmware version not up to date yet not the flashcart itself having problem as in spoil or disfigured
