Final Fantasy remake for DS?

Pick any of the Final Fantasies to be remade for the DS From V all the way to XII. (Excluding XI)
For me I would pick VIII, since it begs for a remake. If you dislike the remake, you'll still have the original.

they should go on a remake for FFV FFVI thats for sure.

ff 6 on ds would be soooo epic. they would need better graphics though. and would have to get rid of that top down perspective.

 

Square Enix already shown that they don't work well with the Unreal Engine (look at the issues with The Last Remnant).

Instead they should focus on using their own development platform or what ever they want to call it the Crystal Tools. Which they have used to make the last few FF games.

I'd like to see VI and VIII remade. AND XI XD *Is shot* JKJK. If they could remake VIII or VII on one portable game that would make me happy.

FFVII was ported to the PC years ago.

and don't forget that most (if not all) of 1-6 were remade and put on PS1 in FF origins/anthology, and then they were put back on nintendo handhelds.

FF 7 & 8,yeah. But not possible on the DS, depending on it`s hardware. Look at this huge 3 or 4 cd-collection (ps1) with all these fantastic videoclips. No way that the DS could handle this.

Yeah that's right they should make a new one but with FF7 style.

 

guys, let's be realistic here. you can't remake a game to a system that is technically inferior to the system the game first came out.

that said, FF7 onwards probably should not be remade to the DS because it would at most be equal to the PS1 version graphically, or it would even be a lot worse.

anyway, FFVI gets my vote. I'd love to see Locke get that pretty facelift like Cecil did.

 

They could use sprites like TWEWY. It doesn't need to be 3d. I mean, look at the graphics for sands of destruction. If they did the games like that i'm sure EVERYONE would buy/download the games.

 

You can download (of course after paying) it from Playstation Network via ps3 and port it over to PSP

I would like to see VII remade for PS3 myself.
