actually tales of hearts and soma bringer are widely considered by people on both side of earth (in terms of popularity) as the 2 best RPGs u can get on the DS. The FF remakes and other ff stuffs are.......not up to the ff par (although they're fine games). Dragon Quest IX is DQIX, you either like it a lot, or you hate it, there is no real middle ground. Infinite space is one of the better RPGs that came out in recent memory. Maybe try Sigma Harmonics, that game was pretty cool. P.S. Notice how a lot of the top RPGs are jap only? yeah...... just go find a patch for a rom, that way you can actually play stuff better than kingdom hearts.
...... tales of heart never got translated. So probably less than 20% of the gaming population played it. Soma bringer is surely an awesome game. But saying its the best it's just hard.
