final fantasy IX glitch

    i didnt see any topic about this only posts on the game in the downloads sections
    it was about the game freezing on disk 3 after kuja is talking to himself before he attacks alexandria
    does anyone know how to bypass this or have a save file JUST after that glitch?

    Perhaps your disk is bad ?
    My brother can play past that part just fine....

    Using emulator or PSX ?

    im using ePSXe 1.7.0
    its really annoying considering i got this far but i cant play past this part =_=

    What video plugin are you using? You could try playing this on ePSXe 1.5.2 instead.

    im using gpuPeteOpenGL2.dll
    ive tried that starting from a save state but it didnt work :(
    do i have to try it from a memory save game?
    because the most recent one i have is just after the disk 2-3 which isnt that far from where im at now

    EDIT: ok well ive done it again using a memory card save on 1.5.2 and it works fine now :D
    but does anyone know how to turn off the frame rate limit?
    i like to skip boring bits ;D
