Final Fantasy IV

You know, I haven't heard of this release before, and it hits me out of the blue, any one had a chance to pick it up? ;D

I think Kamage was talking about the DS version that was redone in 3D like Final Fantasy 3 was. I know that I'm planning on picking it up when it comes out in America.

 

Yeah, I have played the Japanese version, wicked graphics, a bit better than the FFIII remake. The gameplay has changed slightly at some parts, like you can control Cecil at the start of the game, unlike the SNES version. If you played it, you'll know.

There's no English version of the remake out yet.

 

im playing a patched version of the japanese version.

it has some text translated so i know which spells and items are what.

im at the part where cecil becomes a paladin and starts all over at lv 1.
now i gotta sit there and grind until lv 20 or so.

you can download it if you search hard enough.
(or you can search on how to patch it yourself)
i patched it myself and uploaded it on demonoid.

DON'T go to the big fat chocobo near the beginning of the game (can't exit out with japanese text... lol)

FF7 will never be on a NDS... ever.
however, you can play FF7-9 on PSP with hacked firmware...
