    If think you'r at the point at which you need to exit the village and go south, but why don't you take a look at www.gamefaqs.com ;)

    What character are you talking about? Arc or Ingus? Where are you at the moment.

    The town where you get Arc is like a ghost town so go into the houses and talk to the blacksmith guy. Then go to the inn and talk to the guy by the bar. That's Cid. Then do what he says.
