Final Fantasy III will not "save" only "quicksave"?

    i downloaded this game the other day, and i cannot ever save it, there is only the "quicksave" option, so i quicksave the game but the real "save" option isn't highlighted for some reason, im using a supercard ds one, can ony one help me please?

    Where are you?
    You can save on the world map.
