Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Echoes of Time ROM help

Okay so i start up the game watch the opening then when i gain control i go to the save point at the north most part of time but when i pick "Save Story so far" it says "unable to connect game to card please reinsert" or something like that. Is this a copyright measure like in Chrono Trigger?

 

The comments on the download page have the Action Replay code to bypass the anti-piracy features of the game.

You could just add the action replay codes to your cheat database on your card, and turn it on. That way you don't need to modify anything.

UGH when i got this file i tried to extract it but it says "G:/3574_-_ Final_Fantasy_Crystal_Chronicles_-_Echoes_of_Time_(U)(PYRiDiA).rar:Unexpected end of archive" i cant extract it please help

I did the arm7 fix. Gives me the error immediately upon loading the rom.
I put the AR code in my cheat dat file and the dstt doesn't ever actually load.
anything I can do about that?

 

For this rom, no arm7 patching is needed for anything. The only problem is the anti piracy protection. For this you need to use the cheat code. For that, go to the downloads page of the rom and check the comments. If there's anything else you don't understand, RESEARCH IT YOURSELF, YOU LAZY FOOLS!!!
