okay i am new to these forums and i apologise in advance if this problem has been solved in another thread but i struggled to find information about it. im using the final fantasy 8 first disc iso from this site on the psx emulator and it seems to be running at probably 4 times normal speed. i have run several other games such as crash bandicoot and spyro and they work fine. ive tried using the different video drivers to no avail although i dont know a great deal about emulators so im not sure what exactly affects this. I am using windows 7 64 bit on a dell studio 15 laptop Pentium Dual Core CPU 2.1GHz 4GB RAM ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4500 512mb not sure what other information i should include, again bit of a noob with this, just wanna reminisce over one of my favourite games. any help greatly apreciated. cheers
Make sure to set your FPS limit to '60', and check the 'Use FPS Limit' box on your graphic plugin configuration. I recommend using Pete's OpenGL2 Driver as well.
