after the group games i think the winner of group a plays runner up in group b and so on
so by my reckoning england get an easy 2nd round then france or argentina in 1/4's
spain and brazil have to play each other so england can make it to the final

north korea are excellent, the england squad could learn a lot from watching this game - hard work, teamwork, bravery, passion. England have nothing on north korea in these areas

Whats the difference between Mick McCarthy and a Vuvuzela?

Ones a dull monotone drone and the other is a plastic horn.

I want my money back! I'm not paying my license fee just for some dull idiots to get paid to go on holiday in S. Africa, oh and the football has been shite as well.

How are England underperforming-they are crap. Its the fact that they think they are better at everything that is their problem.I think it was a good result against the USA,as the USA had some good results recently.

true, we are crap and the players have huge egos. but their still more talented than most of the other countries. Its not the that we think were better than everyone thats our problem, its the players passion, teamwork and just lack of hard work that costs us.
I predicted USA to get a draw, i knew they could score against England

It is pal.Its plonkers like that Baddiel and Skinner etc -and the media ,saying they should/are going to win it that gets peoples backs up.Couple that with the smug attitude of "well the Scots/Irish/Welsh didnt qualify".

The only good thing is if England do win it,I wont be hearing about 1966 every 2 bloody minutes.Nah,scratch that,I wont last hearing about 2010 every 2 minutes for the next 40 years.
