FFVIII Not running in ePSXe 1.7

    Hey I am a little confused as to why Final Fantasy 8 is not running on my ePSXe version 1.7. I have played numerous other games using the same settings and plugins ect. with no problem. The opening screen plays but never goes to any type of new game screen. It simply repeats the credits over and over. I got the ISO from the downloads section of romulation. Any thoughts?

    it doesn't run on 1.7. use 1.5.2 instead.

    Thank you...I thought it may be that but I looked at the compatibility list and it said it was fine. In any case thank you I will download the older version!
