Having trouble getting Final Fantasy IV to start on my M3 Real. I'm just getting a white screen. Have downloaded the latest software for it, but still nothing.

  2. I don't think you are the only one with this problem. I saw someone else with the same problem with an M3...apparently it works perfectly on a R4. >_<"

May I have help in doing that? I never upgraded after buying my r4.

that would explain why it doesn't work.

I'm having the same issue with the Supercard. Is there anything I can do besides just waiting for the next firmware to come out?

Probably not, there might be a chance a code cheat or patch might pop up somewhere on GBATemp.net, but it would be best to wait for new firmware.

Weird, I have the latest R4 firmware (1.18) and the game does not load for me either.

Do note that I have a chinese cartridge (a friend bought for me during a trip).

Backup files, format memory card and try again.

Oh, I did not think of that.

Regardless, thanks a bunch for the tip, it's working just fine now.

I had M3 DS Simply firmware v1.07, and the game would not start. Upgraded to v1.14 (google it to find it), and the game starts without a hitch.

basically, you can sum up how to get a rom working on a flashcart in a few steps.

    1. update firmware.
    2. make sure you have a noncorrupted downloaded rom.
    3. backup and format.
    4. check compatibility.
    5. then ask for help.

    5. asking for help
    state the following:
    flashcart
    firmware of flashcart
    desired rom

im pretty sure admins and mods are sick of saying the exact same things over and over again (to the same or different people)

basically, i just told everyone something they should already know from this thread: https://www.romulation.org/forum/index.php/topic,1462.0.html
of course, the MUST READ! one, that no one really reads until after the fact.

i wonder if there is a way to lock the rest of the boards until a new user reads the stickied MUST READ! topics first.

...and im not bashing the person for posting their problem about FFIV troubleshooting, this just applies to most other topics in general that have the exact same problem.

There is something like that with a feature in VBulletin, you have to read a topic before you can go into the Forum or Forum section. Check out RLSLOG's forum. You would think I'd get sick, but actually I don't really, unless it's a person I've dealt with before.
