I downloaded the US version rom of Final Fantasy IV and for some reason the text is all in french, but the voice acting is still in english.
I'd like to know how I can get the text to be all in english as I assumed it should have been.

    Are you using an emulator?
And does the title have a (U) after it?

Yup I'm using No$GBA 2.6a, and the Rom does have (U) after the title.

Ok, try downloading it from here (if you haven't) https://www.romulation.org/forum/index.php/topic,8763.0.html
But on an emulator the text get's screwed up. I haven't tried it on IdeaS yet so it might work on there.

So I downloaded the Rom from one of the links, and the text is still in french.
It must be something in the emulator screwing it up for me.
I finally find an emulator the runs the game at 100%, but it puts it in a different language, that's just great.

Okay, this is probably because of the Nintendo DS firmware GUI english is French. Go into your emulator settings, change one of the options to GBA BIOS etc., and then reset. Then go into the DS settings and change the language to English. Save your settings, and then reset. The rom should be in English now. Remember, this doesn't work well with NDS roms, most of them tend to make the emulator crash when you load into the Firmware GUI, so a GBA rom is a must, or just create one yourself, get a notepad, rename it to something.gba, and load it and do everything you need to do. Works in some cases.

I'm a bit of an NDS Emulation newb, so you may have to help me out with this.
What settings do I go into to change bios and language?

You might have downloaded the French version. Try this one : http://www.uploading.com/files/VR7ZQQ3U/no_gba_w.rar.html

Well, that seems to have worked.
Instead of placing the emulator I just downloaded into the same folder as the old one (replacing it) I placed it into a new folder and now the rom is in English, and running smoothly.
I guess there must just be some setting, or small file that is screwing it for me in that folder.
Well, no worries, I am happy now :p
    Thanks a lot guys.
