I've been having a problem with my downloaded version of FFCC: Ring of Fate. It will download fine and trim into my R4DS without any problems. Even the icon shows up for the game. Creating a save file even works too. My problem is, when I run the rom, both top and bottom screen are just white. Nothing, like it crashes or freezes. Also, I heard about this new protection thing on the all the pirated FFCC: Ring of Fate's that lets you play for about 10 minutes into the game then says "THANKS FOR PLAYING!". But it apparently only happens in the USA roms. I'm also wondering if theres any software to bypass that because thats just a big middle finger to us from Nintendo.

No, we all got owned. :D Clean ROM's will work thou.

The game will be hacked eventually. Stupid moogles and their 1337 anti-piracy skillz....

First of all, you have to have Kernel v. 1.16 (this is the latest version)
I had to upgrade the kernel too before i could play it.

Second, Yes you get the so called:MoD: Moogle of Death (we named it that way ;) )
If you save every 15 minutes or so, it will be okay, and you can play on.

Third: Yes it only happens on U roms, i allready finished the Japanese version of the game without any MoD.
Fourth: well there isn't a fourth point :p

This is all the information i can give you right now. Good luck with it.

Of course not. But, this site has firmware for a wide range of flashcarts, so just look for the M3 Simply file and download it.

Look in the download thread, there's a code that removes the moogle problem for a couple of hours, I've been playing it for 3 hours straight now without that message.

the new firmware for R4 is already out so no matter its E or U you can play it at ease without fearing the thank you message

Well what are you playing it on? Emulator or flashcart? If flashcart, it could be that your card (microSD etc.) isn't fast enough. You can try reformatting it and also reinstall the firmware as well.
