FFA2 Crash Problems

Alright so here is the story, me being lazy and all decided not to use the FFA2 save game options and now because of my laziness I got stuck because I save stated right before the game crashes at a random point.

The problem is after finishing quests there is a random chance of the game crashing if you enter a different screen (pub, shop, char info, etc,).

I have have gotten past this problem before by keeping older saved states, but unfortunately this time I overwrote the older saved states.

Sooo long story short, I'm stuck right before the tomato stalk quest where you first meet Adelle, after finishing all the quests in the pub before that point.

And I was wondering if anyone could offer some advice as to how I can fix this problem without starting from scratch again, or if someone could upload a saved file that is at/near that point.

Edit: I'm using the latest ideas emulator.

 

You can get savefiles from http://www.gamefaqs.com/. Just don't use save states too often. I think you can use iDeaS saves on no$gba emulator.
