FF9 Rom Part 1

I downloaded this 2 times already after first time it didnt work the download came with 2 files bin wich was 706mb and CUE wich was only 73 the game would come up with nothing but when i ran part 2 it would run fine only problems is without part 1 i cant really play the game without starting it. I hope i this a easy problem to solve its probaly a problem on my side but there mite be chance that rom file isnt working rigth looking forward to the reply ^^

 

There were some problems with FF9 disc 1 previously.
But I thought they were finally gone.

 

Since no one has no idea or just havent respounded yet im guessing its something to do with my emu but all other games work fine so i dunno would someone clarify if the ff9 rom works or not ?

 

I've downloaded the FF9 disk one from this site. I could not get it to work at all with ePSXe 1.7 after numerous graphics drivers, changed settings, etc. I read about it needed a patch to bypass some possible copyright protection. I tried that and it did not work either.

I hear that the earlier versions of ePSXe (like... 1.51 or 1.5something?) are very good at running the Final Fantasy games. I have not tried that yet. Everything else I can get to work on 1.7 with a little plugin manipulation, but FF9 disk one was a no go.

I need to find all my old PSX games (they are stored somewhere) and try my actual disk and see if it's the copy or the Emulator.

Thanks. I need to find out where all my old games went to from back in highschool. They got placed somewhere after I went to college and when I came back they were gone

 

So.. we can't play Disc part 1 yet? so annoying... T_T FF9 is the best finalfantasy 4 me...
