Mine has always been the anime intro of Wild Arms 1 for the PSX. Back in the days we didin't have tha much jap animes playing in Canada, especially in Quebec (the french province) and this intro was beautiful, i still listen to the theme song "Into The wilderness" as well, that whistling mixed with the dry guitar and the brasses were amazing
My favorite game intros are the intros of : Goemon Shin Sedai Shuumei (PSX) Eretzvaju (PSX) SkyGunner (PS2) Generation Of Chaos (PS2) Zone of the Enders The 2nd Runner (PS2) Rogue Trip Vacation 2012 (PSX) Dark Cloud 2 (PS2)
Mine is a tie between Tales of Symphonia and Chrono Trigger. Tales of Symphonia because it shows off all the characters and even an all-too brief glimpse of the antagonist. It's really good. Chrono Trigger because it really elevates the game and it's time travel story to near-epic proportions.
The intro for Super Robot Wars Alpha for the PSOne is one of my favorites, as well as the intro FMV of Wild Arms 2 disc 2, The Intro FMV of Eternal Eyes, Lunar Silver Star & Eternal Blue, Megaman X6 and FF8 too.
As far as an opening sequence goes, I loved inFamous - press start and blow up half the city. But, if we're talking actual opening videos here, I'd say either Left 4 Dead or Tales of Vesperia (if only because I friggen' love that song...).
I liked the Super Mario 3 intro where the bros were simply goofing around. but my favorite would have to be Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers, the one where Ryu poses for a while then shoots a Hadouken. That was simply badass. honorable mention would have to be the original Smackdown intro for the PS1, the clip was nice, and me being a WWE fan helps too
"Red Alert 2" got good music and also looks nice. Of course the Warhammer 40K intro is more brutal and rocks....
i think the intro to the dog island ps2 and wii is so cute with the children singing, but you find the title of the song let me know please
