Click it, read it, and complain it's absolutely a piece of crap. (if you dare to try it) http://www.psp-hacks.com/2010/02/12/psp-custom-firmware-6-20-mad-002-released-maybe/ Seriously? I'd like to complain that all those devs out there that think they want to release prank firmwares, cause they think it's "funny", ARE TOTAL BASTARDS. Seriously. Those people who are ticked off of probably not able to play SFTB3 (SOCOM Fire-team Bravo 3) or KH:BBS (Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep) OR pissed off about not being able to use PSN (which I hate, thank god for PSNabler) or SenseMe and Comic reader really get depressed when a firmware like this comes out and screw up their PSP or doesn't work. That is probably why it is the "MAD" CFW, cause it causes people to get FRIGGIN MAD. If anyone remembers Team MACK and their "working" 5.50 CFW, the update ran through, but did absolutely nothing. People like that really tick me off.
This reminds me of another team that once said to create CFW for 5.55 and 6.00 OFW games. Turns out to be a complete fake.
Here's a tip, don't trust THAT site...it's seems to be dodgy... I only say that because quickjump and slim hacks never had even reported this one! http://pspslimhacks.com/ Trusted sorce But fake cfw has come time and come again, if your gonna try it from an unknown, keep a pandora handy incase it's deadly.
PSP-hacks is trusted. PSPgen (french PSP site that invented GEN) also reports this is fake. It is not deadly.
I didn't like that site, when I went there ages ago the news was outdated, and some of the download links weren't working. I know psp gen...if I could read french without a translator I'd be a regular there XD As for the deadly part, it'll stuff around with your psp, and I wouldn't want that, I remember one fake cfw that used an mp3 file to make the file size (it was coded into the eboot somehow).
It is not deadly because it just is corrupt on FW 5.50 GEN and loops for a firmware check on 5.00M33.
