We don't encourage freeloading, and we have banned someone for it in the past. downloading hundreds of games without paying for them is NOT something to be proud of, nor do we approve of it. We expect people to buy the games that they enjoy.

Actually I was only joking. And I assumed that by "mooching" all eatpief meant was just hanging around the site but not actually talking to anyone.

The term for that (in the context of forums, at least) is 'lurking'

    You're so uptight loony. :p

You can mooch off all our site you want, but if you find a game you like we highly recommend you go buy it, otherwise there won't be any future games for us to upload. =/

Erm.. oh, loony I'm very sorry then, I've downloaded hundreds of ROMs myself :(

Mostly retro discontinued stuff, the ones for the NES, Sega Genesis, SNES, GBC, N64 & alot of GBA titles. I did at one time get several NDS titles so I can atleast experience NDS gaming even on an emulator, but the whole two screen action & touch screen gimmick didn't quite go well with my tastes, so I decided to leave NDS gaming to the other fellows out there. Besides, there are alot of retro games that were only in Japanese when they were first released that have been translated by fans in recent years, enough reason for me to just stick with retro stuff :)

if the games are no longer available then you can't buy them, simple as that (unless you get lucky in a flea market or something, as I have myself on one or two occasions).

Welcome to the forums! Have "The funs" here! ^.^

Are you using a flash cart or an emulator for your DS?

Welcome to RomUlation... I must admit i have downloaded a fair few games and out of all the ones i have downloaded i have bought 6 because they were the ones i liked best. And i agree get the ones you can't get like retro because they're rare now anyway. Plus, as Seph said if people don't buy the games then where's the money gonna come from for the people to make 'em?

Anyway, again welcome to the best site on the planet.
