I understand that the f7 button switches to the secondary soft video plugin. What i dont understand is, in this f7 mode it runs faster, but even when i set the quality to nice, the graphics are extremely choppy and pixellated. My configuration for the soft video plugin is

    Plugin: P.E.Op.S. Soft Driver 1.1.18
Author: Pete Bernert and the P.E.Op.S. team

    Resolution/Color:
    - 640x480 Window mode
    Stretch mode: 0
    Dither mode: 2

    Framerate:
    - FPS limit: on
    - Frame skipping: off
    - FPS limit: Auto

    Misc:
    - Scanlines: disabled
    - Game fixes: off [00000000]

    Anyone can help me?

Adjust your graphics plugins to run "Fast". Don't use the soft plugin.

For your main hardware plugin use a low resolution, like 640x480. Disable any graphics smoothing, all the options usually show info about them like "Faster, Slower, etc). Choose the "Fast" options, they require less work by your computer.
