I am interested in buying one because of GBA games and I would like to know a bit more about it before buying one for myself

and I would like to know first hand from the guys that own one, such as the most cheapest place to buy one and the user friendliness on adding games and how to add games and how to make them work with my flashcart and such and any important details I should know before hand

    I would greatly appreciate it

    thanks in advance

It would have to be the "ezy 3 in one expansion pak" that your after, not the ds version (ezy flash V)

You add the games to the slot one card (ds slot) and you connect this card in slot 2 (gba slot-ds and dslite only).

If your using an edge card or acekard it's ready to go, with r4 types you may need "ysmenu".

    As for purchase...deals extreme...

If your in australia let me know-I know a good place to shop :)

I bought my EZ Flash 3 in 1 from Ozmodchips. I only recommend Ozmodchips if you live in Australia. Deal extreme is an option if you don't.

With EZ Flash, there is no needed firmware to install. All you need is a Slot-1 flashcart (For eg. CycloDS, R4DS, M3DS etc.) You put the GBA ROM's in your Micro SD card for your Flashcart in a folder that you have to create called "GBA".

The one thing you will need is a little homebrew program called "GBA ExpLoader" by Rudolph. Downloadable from here:

I haven't needed YSmenu for R4DS to use EZ Flash 3 in 1.

I find they cost too much those guys.

Ethier deals xtreme if your willing to wait 2 weeks (cheper than ozmodchips)

    Or...

    www.acegamestore.com

    In victoria I just...walk on in :)

A tad cheaper than oz modchips, not by much but other than m2 modchips and console repairs it's a good store if quiet.

I have been using the EZ 3 in 1 along with an AK2.1 flashcard using AKAIO firmware. AKAIO detects the 3 in 1 flawlessly. I have a separate folder on the u-sd to separate the GBA games. I have no issues with the combination and so far all my GBA games are working. My purchases were from dealextreme, but lately, I'lve been buying from focalprice [dot][com].

I am with funfile, I also use an EZ 3in1 GBA flash cart with my AK 2i running the AKAIO 1.5.1. I have not had a single problem with either one and they work together in perfect harmony. GBA games load around 7 to 10 seconds, but if they are flashed to the cart they load instantly.

If you have a CycloDS do you need GBAexploader? If so, where on the flashcart do I put it?

The CycloDS does not need any homebrew, it has a loader built into the Firmware.
