I read the tutorial of using the ezflash, but the rudolf tool still will not read the ezflash cartridge. I've also read that I might need to do something to my DLDI. But since I'm to this, i have no idea what DLDI is. Can someone recommend a tutorial or give me some step-by-step process?

Someone made somewhat of a guide which should do the trick because it's really easy once you figure it out.

I'm not sure if that will fix the issue but it might be worth a shot.

If he's using a homebrew, most likely it will need DLDI patching unless you have one that supposedly autopatches, DSTT for instance. The DLDI right click patcher is much easier to use.

I forgot to add that I am using a R4DS. And i read the patching topic, but i have no idea what it's referring to when it says "your files." Can someone clarify the files that i need to include in the patch.

When he says "your files", he means the homebrew you need to patch. If you want to patch homebrew, you need to download the DLDI RC patcher, then install it. At the end, it will ask which flashcart devices you have. Click them and finish. Then right click the file you want to patch, and it should say DLDI patch. Then follow the rest in the CMD that should pop up.
