I have a manhattan USB EZ grabber i recently hooked my desktop PC to my HD TV and tought of recording some Zone of the Enders footage since i am loving that game..., i decide to install the software and it installs correctly, however i get no signal input (usually the black screen should have some green flashing lines indicating that i need to plug in a standard video wire, the Yellow white Red ones) instead all i have a black screen, the device works fine on my laptop, so when i check it it isnt on device manager under Audio section, it's under uknown section with the name OTG-2, vía online it finds drivers but it inmediatly says "the drivers werent meant for this plattaform" so i uninstall, remove and isnert the device again and i use the seek the drivers option.the results are the same these drivers arent meant for this plattaform (the ones on the DVD are meant for win XP and win Vista) i made ure to chose x86 drivers since my system is of 32 bits.then i went to the official site and Dl'ed the drivers and then i repeated the process of above again, same result, drivers arent meant for this plattaform.

moving on i copy pasted the drivers in hopes of the damn thing being recognized and nothing, i repeated this with the drivers that are on my laptop and nothing again.

i am atm very tired so i am thinking my best way out is to copy/paste the whole thng (one touch video capture+mydrvr folder) to my desktop PC and seeing if that does the trick, if it doesnt i will uninstall again, for the 20th time.OS win 7 Ultimate 32 bit, running the thing on compatibility mode for win XP SP3 with admin permits option enabled, which dint work, i am asked to reinstall the drivers, i do and window tell me i cant because they are already updated, even when there are no drivers windows still bugs and tells me I HAVE the drivers installed

windows vista drivers should work on windows 7 but they might not. It's not unheard of for manufacturers to deliberately break hardware on newer OSes to force people to upgrade (creative did it with their audigy 2 soundcard range, the cards are intentionally crippled on windows vista/7)

As i said it works on my laptop but refuses to do so on my desktop PC, not even using the ame drivers, i think windows migth have installed some generic crap and is conflicting since even when i remove the drivers from the system the device is then placed under audio (where it should be) section of device manager but with the name, i get error -10 or error -18.

The Laptop is also runnig win 7 ultimate 32 bits

Ok i finally narrowed down the issue, tho i have no idea why it still wont work, i got the correct files this time, but when i select the folder vía searching for the driver i get "the device couldnt initiate (Code 10)"i suspect i am doing something wrong, because when i chose to erase the controllers from my PC it showed again as an uknown device, now it shows under the audio and game devices, but it still wont initiate.
